As any knitter or crocheter knows, dry skin goes with the territory, and is just a price we pay. The trick was to develop a lotion that would not get our yarn greasy--something that we could apply, and then immediately pick up even our most delicate yarns. Harmony Skin Care designed a lotion containing a lower skin or penetrating moisturizer (avocado oil), and an upper skin or surface moisturizer (vegetable glycerin) which effectively seals in the oil.
