Description: Do you believe that finishing is difficult or tedious? In this class you will learn how to realize in a primitive but classy way, a scissor tip "etui", a needlebook and a thread keeper pocket. The sewing accessories match with a purse and pincushion, newly released at the market. You will be provided a complete kit/chart for the sewing accessories plus a complimentary chart for sewing purse and pincushion. Students should bring usual stitching supplies plus sewing needles and scissors to cut wool felt and finishing materials.

Description: The cover of the Parking Spot is wool. The heart and flower are needle felted (which is what we will work on in class). The cover is shown on the right side of the picture. The inside of the Parking Spot is worked on linen. It has a pocket for a ruler, a place to keep your scissors, and a place to park pins. The kit will have the wool and linen, roving and threads, ruler and pins. Kit does not include scissors. The pattern will cover needle felting and the interior.

This concept was presented at market 10 years ago and I have had great success with it since then. This course will explore one method of teaching a year- long sampler club in your shop. Within this course we will explore how to set up the classes, what to teach and how to go about getting people interested in making their own samplers.
