Why not give them the tools they need to make their own basic garments, with any yarn in your shop, to fit them exactly at a gauge that works for them? Unpatterns are an ideal way to ease knitters away from reliance on patterns: the worksheets help them crunch the numbers, and informative descriptions of why they're doing what they're doing make them more independent knitters. Come see what Unpatterns can do to liberate and educate your knitters!

If marketing focuses on the immediate area, promotions reach out beyond, attracting the customer who is willing to travel to a promising store. Participating in events such as "Stitches" or Stitch N' Pitch will attract the customer who is not obviously aware of your studio/store. Promotion is about disseminating information through various media: print, Web, mobile phone. The process of a sale begins with market research, segmentation, business centered, execution and ends with follow-through. Results are the most important factor. Results will prove the success of that investment.
